EF-1 Tornado Confirmed Near Woodland Park, CO on July 30 — 110 MPH Winds, Tree Damage Reported

Description: The National Weather Service (NWS) in Pueblo, Colorado has confirmed that an EF-1 tornado touched down on July 30, 2025, approximately 6 miles west-northwest of Woodland Park in Teller County. With estimated peak winds of 110 mph, the tornado traveled 0.8 miles and caused extensive tree damage, including uprooted and snapped softwood trees along a 50-yard-wide path. No injuries or fatalities were reported. Survey teams encountered impassable areas due to mangled trees and steep terrain. A damage assessment was performed on 8/4/2025 after delayed reports of extensive tree damage was discovered WSW of Woodland Park, Colorado. At 1:55PM a tornado touched down 6 miles WSW of Woodland Park. During the survey widespread tree damage was surveyed with the primary damage indicated being uprooted softwood trees with an occasional snapped softwood tree. The path of the tornado was clear as there were trees oriented in a cyclonic pattern. Near the end of the damage path the tornado made surveying inaccessible do to the amount of trees mangled over one another, as well as the topographic grade in which the tornado followed.
