Hasty/McClave Fire personnel responded this evening (July 1, 2026) to a brush fire started by lightning.

Thanks to a quick response from our volunteers, the fire is under control. Crews are still on scene working through mop-up operations and extinguishing hot spots to make sure everything is fully out.

As always, we appreciate the support of our community and the dedication of our firefighters who leave their families, dinners, and evening plans behind when the tones drop.
