Update:
Great News! Pole Canyon Fire stayed a little under 2 acres and as of 2 hours ago when Chief of Administration, Heather Vargas was on scene, fire was 60% contained!
Chief of Operations, Roy Britt will remain on scene overnight with hotshot crews and other personnel.
Firefighters; Assistant Chief, Derrick Omer, Firefighter Milton Perez, and Firefighter Adriana Garcia were also on scene at the fire.
Air support was given to this fire within an hour of HCFPD being on scene; which is why this fire was successfully contained and hadn’t grown substantially.
