(DENVER, COLO) - On July 12, 2026, an off-duty Jefferson County Deputy, Tyler Stahl, was arrested and charged with DUI.
On July 12, 2026, at approximately 8:05 a.m., the Colorado State Patrol responded to an agency assist request from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office at a private apartment complex near West Hampden Avenue Service South and South Harlan Street in Denver, CO.
Jefferson County deputies received a report of an individual asleep behind the wheel of their vehicle in a parking lot in a private apartment complex. Deputies arrived on scene and requested that the Colorado State Patrol respond due to the individual being a Jefferson County Deputy.
The Colorado State Patrol is handling the criminal investigation. Any questions related to the deputy’s employment status or administrative matters should be directed to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.
Arrests and charges are merely accusations until and unless a suspect is convicted of a crime. All suspects and defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
